Privacy Policy

The short version

TrainerMath is a free calculator. There are no accounts, no sign-ups required to use it, and this site never stores your clients' data. The maxes you type in are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to us or anyone else.

Calculator inputs

The 1-rep maxes and training maxes you enter never leave your device. All calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type into the calculator is transmitted, logged, or stored by this site.

Preferences on your device

Your settings (unit, training-max percentage, last template, rounding options) are saved in your browser's localStorage so they're remembered next visit. They stay on your device; you can clear them anytime by clearing your browser data for this site.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand how the calculator is used — things like which templates are popular and whether people copy their results. Analytics are anonymous usage measurements; they do not include the numbers you enter into the calculator.

Email list

If you choose to join our email list, your address goes directly to our email provider (Kit), which handles consent and unsubscribing. We use double opt-in: you only join after confirming from your inbox, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. We do not store your email address on this site.

Contact form

Messages sent through the site's comment form (coming soon) are delivered straight to the site owner's inbox via an email delivery service (Resend) and are protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile. Name and email are optional on that form. Messages are not stored anywhere else.

The comment form on the calculator page is the way to reach us with any privacy question or request. Until it ships, no message channel is live yet — check back soon.
